For the inauguration of Berea College’s 10th President, I created a series of designs that brought energy and cohesion to a campus event to connect students, community members, and the new President. My work focused on developing fun, engaging, and on-brand materials that celebrated the occasion while offering attendees an opportunity to learn more about the college interactively and memorably. Each piece was designed to contribute to a unified visual experience that reflected Berea’s spirit and the day’s excitement.
I created a bookmark that balanced functionality and sustainability. Originally intended to be a ticket with a tear-off portion, I saw an opportunity to reduce waste by designing a piece where the entire product could be used. At the bottom, I created a section for attendees to submit their information for a prize drawing. At the same time, the top doubled as a bookmark, featuring Snowbear, President Cheryl Nixon's puppy.
