I created the Linking Campus and Community logo as part of my design work at Berea College. I developed a cohesive newspaper ad layout to strengthen the connection between the college and the surrounding community. The interlocking design of the logo symbolizes unity and collaboration, representing the intentional bridging of campus life with community engagement. In addition to the logo, I organized the overall layout of the newspaper ad, which has now become a reusable template. This consistent design helps establish visual recognition—when readers see the familiar format, they immediately identify it as a Berea College ad. The newspaper highlights campus events, student initiatives, and programs open to the public, aiming to make community members feel welcomed and engaged with the college.
